Viole~!

Viole! ...the purple one. She has a tough girl vibe, which comes across as pretty obvious. These are really fun...

I've been working on a new story lately, one of many other W.I.P. projects. Bikkuri and I have put a lot into it. It's set in the 1880's, in London...which is a little weird for me. I've alway liked that period, but I've had to do a ton of research on it recently. This morning I spent some time looking over fashion of the period. It's not like I'm going to go for 100% historical accuracy or anything, but I'd like to at least be educated. At any rate, I discovered a couple of famous artists whose works I've always enjoyed, but never really looked into much. James Tissot and John Singer Sargent, both very famous portrait artists. I especially enjoy Tissot's work...his "Bridesmaid" is my favorite so far, with it's deep field of vision, strong composition and strong atmosphere...
