ok sry but i think all fan arts of these troll people aliens whatever are awesome...but i just started reading the homestuck comic and i'm really wondering why people think this is so cool, the original web comic is drawn so shitty that it's not even worth the strange story....could you explain me why people like this comic so much?
It may not be drawn with the best fidelity ( graphical detail ), but the characters are all very iconic ( memorable, recognizable, likable ). In fact the farther into the story you go, the more visual styles you'll see the characters drawn in ( One is called hero mode by the fanbase ). But no matter how they're drawn or how well they're drawn, they're still iconic.
Also, the beginning of the webcomic was focused on the world mechanics. Later, with the introduction of the trolls ( the aliens ) its an exploration of what its like being kids on the internet. The trolls are meant to represent specific parts of internet culture, and that makes their character memorable and likable. The plot also moves like a parabola, starting of slowly then shooting off quickly.
And without getting spoilery, the story's mythos is awesome and inspires the imagination. At least for me. :3 Hopefully that sheds some light as to why it's as popular as it is.
this is really good! great job! kinda find it weird that vriska's (and tav's and eri's) hair is the only one with a noticable amount of white in it thou...
